The Right To Have Or Carry, A Gun And Military Weapons.

# 1 : Sunday 4-3-2018 @ 17:00

Do you think, the constitutional right to bear arms in the US is outdated and needs reform. Do you think, military type weapons should be in the hands of civilians and what do you think about the chances of change in attitude towards guns going forward in the US. What are your thoughts on these issues?

Well it definitely needs reform! I’m pretty sure the original meaning was allowing the population to mobilize in the event of an invasion by the British, a reasonable clause for a newly independent nation. I don’t think it was ever supposed to be interpreted as “stockpiling to kill dear with AK47s”! The issue though isn’t does it need reform, rather is there a willingness in the populace to look at the amendment sensibly. At the moment, once the hype over the recent shooting fades, I don’t think that is there.

The 2nd amendment referred to muskets, not weapons of war.

The rules the already have on guns they don't follow so the idea of new rules is risible when they don't bother with what they already have . Remember the American who checked in his guns in An airport flew to another airport took out his guns and blasted away in the airport! Their police forces are allowed to buy military materials like vehicles which of course they want to use. They aren't going to change their mental state that makes them buy guns and they will keep buying every gun imaginable - gun deaths there are highest in world !

Trump says teachers should have guns: one week later a teacher is barricaded in classroom and shoots at principal (but not kids).

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

A way of resolving the problem would be for the Supreme Court to apply the opening phrase: "A well regulated Militia". Individuals shooting in schools, churches, or nightclubs, or while committing crimes are not "well regulated".

The US military requires soldiers' guns to be stored securely - "well regulated" - when not being used. Something similar for non-soldiers is needed.

Some states require guns too be under lock and key or in a gun safe and some dont, it's not a federal thing, the big conspiracy theory these loons believe is that the federal gov or the UN will come in at take away their guns which makes them arm more . Gun control would work but if a law was passed banning donations from the nra to politicians then you would see a completely different application of the 2nd amendment.

NRA and Gun manufacturers, have gun nuts paranoid with conspiracy theories. They are a tiny minority, yet have a lot of politicians in their pockets and have too much power. Just like the 1 %, controlling 90% of the wealth in the world and a very disturbing situation to be in.

Nra gave trump 30million dollars! And they are very upset he talked gun control which is why he doubled down on arming teachers - answer limit donations from vested interests . It's not difficult US, if your politicians are prostitutes limit their earnings so they do their day job.

Why do Americans really have guns? Fear? Because it's easy? Are the men compensating for having small dicks? Do the women want to have em? Why are the Americans so trigger happy when in Canada where they also own lots of guns they aren't? Is that down to gun control ?

A youngster can't buy a beer, but can buy a gun and what is wrong with that? Some products, are banned due to health and safety concerns? Yet you can get an AR15, down the road at your local and magazines to load it rapidly. What is up with that?

How come when a man buys a fast car or a gun, he's compensating for a small penis. Yet if a woman buys a gun or a fast car she's not compensating for size AA breasts or a pussy so loose you could drive a bus in there?

Fear of police and other people having guns Meanwhile in Canada they've got guns ... strangely little gun death? Meanwhile in Europe no guns how do we live? Oh yeah police . Meanwhile in Switzerland Mose civilian armed country in world .do they have US levels of gun violence and deaths ? No ! Why is the reason gun controls ?
