The odds are for a White Christmas and a December General Election.

All it took are a good poll for FG, and both FF and FG growing tired of their agreement, where FF supports FG like the code supports the handed-man.

It has to be this year, or after Brexit deadline.

A- Do you believe in a 2018 snap election?
B- Who would you support?
C- Who would you reckon will be in charge next year prior to Brexit?

Yes

B- Who would you support?
Not an independent who will pontificate in 5 years about why he joined a party, or who used to be in a party but was kicked out.

C- Who would you reckon will be in charge next year prior to Brexit?
FG and Labour/Greens

No early election .
The Dáil will be tied again after the next election but expect more interesting coalitions .
It would be funny if MaryLou was in charge

Would you trust her to be in charge of the Kris Kindle in your family/office?

The depressing thing is that there really doesn’t seem to be a politically viable alternative to FG or FF. The prospect of one of those parties forming a Coalition with the Shinners is scary.

FG are not doing anywhere near enough to tackling the severe housing crisis. I really think any other party would do a better job than them with their laissez-faire new Thatcherite ideology.

I would love to see a revival of Labour’s fortunes and a growth in support for the Social Democrats but that just doesn’t look very likely.

When is the next GE going to happen? This side of Christmas? Early 2019?

Wait until after the mid-terms in the US, after 7/11 and Leo will announce a date.

I expect a february/march election. There are rumours of a May 24th 2019 triple election (general, local, european)

Do you really think that Leo is waiting on results of US mid-term?

Brexit negociations, I get it.
But US elections? That's pushing it...

Eh NO, But it is too much of a distraction right now and they don't need that.

Distraction?
If the election had been called last week, you think they would not have been front page all month?
It would have beaten halloween!

Well maybe people might vote for newer parties like the Social Democrats and Renua? I don't understand why everyone keeps on voting same person in.
