Has he behaved since?

Yes. We've been out several times.
He still drinks faster then everyone else, but he slows down and drinks water when he's had enough.

What about non alcoholic beers, could he mix it up and slow it down?

It's never come up. it sounds a bit round-a-bout, plus non alc beers tends to be weird and gassy.

There is loads of non alcoholic beers, none on draught yet would love to try it, there is alcohol he gin some one told me it tastes rank.

Alcohol-free beers are like vegan sausages, or a peace keeping army.
I have as little time for heavy drinkers as I have for any other complacent addict.
