Adieu Theresa May...

So Mrs Theresa May, second female Prime Minister of the UK, and helmsperson of the ill-fated Brexit ship has announced her resignation today. She was in tears at the end of her resignation speech.

What make you of this develipment? Any pity for the Lead Lady? Or does she deserve every bit of scorn heaped on her?

I actually feel rather sorry for May. She was handed a poisoned chalice - an impossible task - with Brexit and royally f*cked it up. Her decision to shore up a Westminster majority by getting in bed with the DUP was pretty unforgivable But now she's gone, it's open season on a tital sh*tstorm of callous and cynical leadership by Boris or the other Brexiteers.

If I was a Briton I would be very unhappy today and anxious for the future.

She shouldn't have called that snap election, she got a raw deal and I feel sorry for her.

That’s her curse: she is more than Brexit, but she has been and will remained defined by it in minds shaped by their bubbled newsfeed.

Boris reminds me of that Italian captain, who capsized a ship and sunk it so he could wave to the people on the island nearby.

I think Theresa May did the best she could. No one can fix Brexit.

Isn't it "strange" how old-world minorities, find themselves in power during economic downturns in countries like England Ireland and America?

Curious that.

It's almost as if none of the white, old, male humans want to put their balls on the line when running a country might actually be difficult, and not simply free money and a six figure pension.
