So Mrs Theresa May, second female Prime Minister of the UK, and helmsperson of the ill-fated Brexit ship has announced her resignation today. She was in tears at the end of her resignation speech.
What make you of this develipment? Any pity for the Lead Lady? Or does she deserve every bit of scorn heaped on her?
I actually feel rather sorry for May. She was handed a poisoned chalice - an impossible task - with Brexit and royally f*cked it up. Her decision to shore up a Westminster majority by getting in bed with the DUP was pretty unforgivable But now she's gone, it's open season on a tital sh*tstorm of callous and cynical leadership by Boris or the other Brexiteers.
If I was a Briton I would be very unhappy today and anxious for the future.
