I had just explained to her the difference between A and B after she mistakingly stating that A needed C in order for B to start.

In all fairness I can see how that could happen Blah, from what I've seen of some of your posts you tend to overexplain things and almost go down a rabbit hole of explanations. I'm not accusing you of mansplaining or anything because I genuinely don't think that is your intent but I can see how some people could mistake it for that.
