The End Of Kik

# 1 : Tuesday 1-10-2019 @ 20:35

What are those of us who have cherished KIK and its service going to use, now that they have decided to end this chat service? Are there any alternative options out there besides the ones that log and follow you like whatsapp, snapchat etc?
Anyone know of similar chat apps like KIK?

What's Kik?
I use WhatsApp. Very handy for sending large video files etc... (Daily baby vids to her grandparents).

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-49809449 Something similar to 4chan it looks like.. Guess you could always just download the Tor onion browser & go dark if that's your cup of tea.. Although, as the CIA developed Tor for back channel communications, just how dark it is is anyones guess..

Someone has read to many conspiracy sites...
The CIA is not involved with the Department of Defense: DARPA and the DOD have indeed been involved with starting Tor and supporting/subverting it. But that has little to do with the CIA!

A honey trap was set up last night on The Malahide Road by a gang of homophobic teenagers. I don't know if it was Grinder or what dating app they used. The man got a hiding.

Watch out for honey traps......

It's likely they will be caught but with mitigating factors i.e. terrible upbringing etc nothing will happen.
