When I dated, I never, ever, went Dutch if I liked the other party.
And even if we settled in the friend-zone, I most always go “It’s myntreat, you’ll get me next time.”

I think that in any date situation, neither should feel entitled to be treated to it, or forced to treat the other, but I find going Dutch too stingy, even for me!

If meeting someone on a date, would usually pay for both - depending on who asked who on the date and taking turns.

For friends or colleagues, Dutch all the way.
