I think they can catch it but a low chance of spreading it to humans. There was the first Coronavirus confirmed canine death in China a while back now.

They've just had the first death from Covid-19 in Ireland. A Dublin man in his 50s found out he had to be quarantined with his wife for 14 days and took his own life
