So myself and a friend have decided to go on a diet together starting Monday, I'm starting off at 69kg and she is starting off at 109kg and the plan is to try lose 5kg each in the next month and then work from there, we are going to do weekly weigh ins with each other and keep a diary of what we eat that we share with each other (the diary's not the food) so that should make it easier since I won't be doing it on my own. If anyone else wants to do something like that on here I'm sure Thomas wouldn't mind us making a thread on the Health forum and just talking about what we are doing and how we are getting on

Be careful, you don't blow away in the next wind storm and tie some weights around your ankles.

With the amount of veg I've been eating lately trust me I'm creating many a wind storm of my own, I'm pretty sure I'm the one responsible for all the weird weather we are having lately

69kg sounds like you're underweight, you should maybe try and exercise instead of dieting.

A bit off topic, but I do not think you should use your hair to hide your face, Killer Frost.
Your face is fine, and as you say you can take that little extra given your height.
You BMI is probably below average as it is: you may be the only one that sees these extra pounds (they're probably more like pennies ) in your face.

Your own view of your own self may be slightly distorted, as it is in most young women under the influence of the "fashion" standards.

Unless you have a significant eating disorder, trust that your body always finds its balanced shape and weight. Accepting our body's balance is more important than trying to reshape it under external influences that we have internalized.

96k is no where near underweight for a 6 foot female, as for exercise it doesn't really loose as much weight as dieting does unless it is pretty vigorous exercise like a 10 mile cycle or jog everyday which I can't do because of recent health issues

It's not a fashion thing, all the health stuff recently has put me on a bit of a downer and I just want to do something that is totally for me just so I can prove to myself that I'm not just giving into all the health stuff and letting it consume me. Like I said it's a personal thing, I don't date and care very little about what guys think of me so I'm not losing weight to impress anyone and as I said I can easily carry the weight now so when I lose it nothing would have changed from the perspective of an outside observer, this is solely for my benefit.

sorry typo, 69 (as much as I hate using that particular number given the amount of people on here who treat it like it is a magical number that somehow has the power to make their sex life better in much the same way they think 7 and 13 are unlucky numbers if they are doing the lotto )
