You`ll find he said it on the spur of the moment and didn`t think about it.If I see a bright yellow car and I say it`s a gay colour I don`t mean to cause offence it`s just a throw away statement.Anyway if he asks again who own`s the Homosexual tea tell him "not the wankbag thats asking"

why is yellow a gay colour, and he was obviously using the term to homosexual in a derogatory manner.

yellow and pink are gay because they are.

You could justify the bleach by telling him that because all homosexuals are the same and conform to a stereotype, you were bleaching highlights in your hair over the kitchen sink in your canteen, and splashed some of the peroxide in to his homosexual tea.

You might then like to start crying inexplicably.

(Why is Yellow a gay colour)
Why is white seen as virginal and black seen as menacing and brown seen as soft. They just are..I don`t think he was making a degrading comment at all.How many times have you been in a pub and hear someone refeering to anything other than guinness or whisky being classed as a gay drink..Does the manager know your Gay??.

Ah for the love of Jasus. That's nothing. I use that phrase all the time to describe the cliched gayness of things.

He was just trying to be funny. You have to have a harder neck than that.

I agree, if you're going to be that hyper sensitive, why go out of doors at all! Stay at home and wrap yourself in cotton wool and then cling firm. You should be ok then.

If it was a once off comment that he thought was funny, it says a lot more about him than anything else.

If this is just the latest in a series of comments and remarks, it is highly inappropriate behaviour for a person in authority, and under Health and Safety legislation, your employer has the duty to provide you with a workplace in which you do not feel threatened or unsafe.

If it is bullying, it is not whining to complain about it. When someone is being bullied constantly, it may sound like something very silly that is the 'last straw' and makes the victim complain, but for the victim is is a big thing.

Through my work I have met a number of people whose lives have been badly affected by bullying, and it is not anything I would ignore.
